Applecross Physiotherapy offers experienced and friendly physiotherapists that practice with the highest quality of clinical care.

Our focus is to provide you with the help you need to overcome injury with minimal delay. We utilise evidence based physiotherapy treatment offering a range of services and treatment options. Appointments are offered Monday to Saturday with availability outside of normal business hours. Established within the Applecross Medical Centre in 2001 and previously Forbes Road, Applecross Physiotherapy is

the longest standing physiotherapy practice within Applecross, Western Australia. Located on level 1 within the medical centre at the intersection of Riseley Street and Canning Highway, there is plenty of parking available and lift access if required. We service Applecross as well as surrounding suburbs including Perth, South Perth, Como, Mount Pleasant, Ardross, Booragoon, Manning and Bicton. Applecross Physiotherapy is a HICAPS provider and our services are covered by health insurance providers. We are also a Medibank Members Choice and BUPA Provider. We acknowledge GP referrals following Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA), Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and Enhanced Primary Care (Medicare EPC) Plans.

Over the past 6 weeks we've had the pleasure of hosting Curtin University Musculoskeletal Masters students, Henry and William, for their clinical placement.

Where are we? 📍

We are located at 1/764 Canning Highway, Applecross, on the corner of Canning Highway and Riseley Street. The carpark can be accessed from Riseley Street.

We are upstairs on Level 1, there is a lift to assist you if you are unable to take the stairs.

Maybe! Depending on your treatment, home exercises may be included to help you stay on track and get the most out of your sessions.

We know that life gets busy and sometimes those exercises mysteriously disappear from your memory ... 👀😂

✨ Meet Lucy! ✨

Lucy has been part of the Applecross Physiotherapy team for over 10 years! She has completed her post-graduate qualification in pelvic floor physiotherapy, and also runs our group exercise classes.

She’s passionate about supporting people through all stages of life, helping them feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their bodies. From pregnancy to pelvic health concerns and beyond, Lucy values creating a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where people feel heard and cared for.

Lucy also loves helping people build strength and confidence through her small group exercise classes, designed for a range of ages and abilities 💪

Outside the clinic, Lucy LOVES pastries, cakes and anything foodie-related. So if you have a local recommendation, she’s all ears! 🥐🍰

Do I need a referral to see a physio? 🤔

The short answer: no! You can usually book in and see a physio directly without needing a GP referral.

There are a few exceptions where you might need one, such as:
✔ Medicare Care Plans (GP Chronic Condition Management Plan)
✔ WorkCover or motor vehicle accident claims
✔ Department of Veteran's Affairs cardholders

But for most people dealing with pain, injury, or just wanting to move better, you can book in anytime.
