Yesterday, our wonderful lifestyle assistant, Cheryl, participated in the Go Pink breast cancer fundraiser by shaving her head! We are thrilled to share that she completely smashed her $500 goal, more than tripling that amount. To show her support, Amy also dyed her hair pink and stepped up to use the clippers. We had a fantastic turnout of staff and residents who cheered Cheryl on during this huge achievement.

Cheryl took on this challenge to honor and support her friend Christine, who is currently battling breast cancer.

Big congratulations to our raffle winners! 🎉 Ena and her niece Margaret scored the first-prize hamper! Sally from Admin won the gorgeous dreamcatcher, beautifully handmade and donated by Kylie, an AIN who just joined our PNH team. Welcome and thank you, Kylie!

Cheryl is still accepting donations until the end of the day on Wednesday, 1 July. You can give cash directly to Cheryl or the administration staff. Alternatively, please scan the QR code on the noticeboard near reception to make an online donation. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to a cure.

Our residents have been enjoying a wonderful, action-packed month!
Craft sessions with our wonderful resident art teacher, Jill, have kept everyone beautifully creative.
We also took a fantastic outing to the coffee farm, where residents enjoyed delicious morning tea and loved meeting the animals.
Scotty led our final energetic Tai Chi session for June before heading off to visit family—we wish him a safe trip!
We also raised a glass during happy hour with Carolyn and shared plenty of laughs during a lively game of balloon volleyball.
To keep the smiles going, our weekly ice cream trolley has been making its rounds to all the wings.
Di has also been busy sparking creativity among our Windermere residents, and she always loves sharing a fun dance with the ladies.
Plus, we have changed to a sweet new tradition: celebrating each resident's birthday right on their special day with a cake to share with friends and staff, followed by a lovely gift at the end of the month from the wonderful Proserpine Lions Ladies!
