Mama Wellness Co was created by Kendra Penney, a physiotherapist with training in pelvic health

I aim to empower women through combining clinical experience with research-informed education and treatments, while focusing on overall health, movement and wellness. My goal is to help you stay active during pregnancy, prepare you for labour and delivery, and get you back to all of your favorite activities postpartum. As a new mother myself, I understand the challenges first hand surrounding scheduling appointments. Instead of arranging childcare, or timing out feedings and naps, allow Mama Wellness Co to provide your treatment in the comfort and privacy of your own home. One of my favorite professional weekends of the year!

In no particular order: we caught up, we learned, we laughed, we brainstormed. We enjoyed fresh air, moved our bodies, took in incredible Nova Scotia views, and made space for the kind of conversations and connections that remind us why we love what we do.

Grateful for the people, the perspectives, the shared ideas, and the reminder that some of the best growth happens when we step away from the day-to-day. Thank you Remedia Health for bringing us together and making these weekends so special 🤍

Gearing up for a few exciting days of learning… from my office, my home, and quite possibly the hockey rink (IYKYK) 🏒☕️📚

Last year, I attended PelviCon in person in Atlanta and had the best time. I learned so much from incredible leaders in the pelvic health industry from all over the world, and came home feeling so inspired by the knowledge, research and conversations happening in our field.

This year, with some big family travel plans on the horizon, I decided to stay home. But I definitely wasn’t going to miss out on the learning!

Happy Holidays from Mama Wellness Co 🤍

As this year comes to a close, I want to say a sincere thank you to everyone I’ve had the opportunity to work with. This was the first full year of Mama Wellness Co being my only focus, and I truly couldn’t have done it without the support of this community.

To my friends, family, and colleagues who choose to have me as part of your team and recommend me to your people, thank you for the trust and support.

To the mamas who referred their friends, I’ve really enjoyed getting to know your circles and supporting you through this season of life.

To the moms and babies who attended my Baby & Me Physio Yoga class, it’s been so rewarding to watch your confidence grow and see the connections form along the way.
