Wellness during cancer doesn’t always look like green smoothies and a positive mindset.

Sometimes it looks like resting when your body asks you to. Letting someone bring you food.

Sitting with the hard feelings without performing okay-ness. Today — National Cancer Wellness Awareness Day — we want to hold space for the full, complicated, real experience of going through cancer.

Integrative care isn’t about replacing your conventional treatment. It’s about adding layers of support — physical, emotional, nutritional — so that you feel held through this experience, not just managed.

If you or someone you love is navigating a cancer diagnosis, we’re here.

There’s nothing wrong with coping — sometimes it’s exactly what you need to get through a hard season. But if coping has become your permanent strategy, your nervous system is working overtime to manage something that was never really resolved.

The difference matters. Coping says “I can handle this.” Healing asks “why do I keep needing to?”

In therapy, we’re not trying to help you white-knuckle your way through life. We’re trying to get to the place underneath — the pattern, the belief, the moment where things shifted — so that the hard feelings stop running the show.

If you’ve been “doing fine” for a long time but still feel like something’s off… that might be worth exploring.

💬 What’s one coping strategy you’ve been leaning on lately? No judgment — just curious.

Nobody told you that perimenopause could start in your 30s.

And yet here you are — more anxious than you used to be, sleeping differently, feeling like your body has its own agenda, and being told your labs are completely normal.

This isn't burnout. This isn't stress. This isn't you "just getting older."
This is your hormonal transition — and it deserves an actual explanation.
On Friday, June 26th, Dr. Kelly Clinning, ND is hosting a free masterclass breaking down exactly what's happening in your body during perimenopause, why it starts earlier than most people expect, and what evidence-informed support actually looks like.

What we'll cover:
— Why you feel so different in your 30s and 40s (and why your doctor might not have connected the dots yet)
— The hormonal shifts driving your symptoms — sleep, mood, weight, anxiety, cycles
— What actually helps — beyond "eat well and reduce stress"
— How to advocate for yourself and ask the right questions
This is the conversation most women don't get to have until they're deep in it. We're changing that.

Your PCOS diagnosis might be correct — and something else might also be true at the same time.

Chronic stress doesn’t just affect your mood. It can elevate androgens, disrupt your cycle, increase insulin resistance, and lower progesterone. In other words: it can produce a hormonal profile that mirrors PCOS almost exactly.

If no one has ever talked to you about cortisol, your HPA axis, or stress physiology in the context of your hormone health — this is worth asking about.

Root-cause care means looking at why your hormones are behaving the way they are, not just what to call it.

Save this for your next appointment. And if you’d like to explore what’s really driving your symptoms, we offer free 15-minute consults — link in bio.

Not everyone is the right fit for this kind of care — and that’s intentional.
We work best with people who feel like:
“My labs look normal, but I don’t feel normal.” “I’ve tried a lot, but I still don’t have clear answers.”

“I’m ready for a more thoughtful, personalized approach.” Because this work isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about asking better questions, looking at root causes, and adjusting care based on how your body actually responds.

And while we don’t promise that every case is simple or linear — we do promise to approach your case with depth, care, and extremely high level clinical reasoning.

If you’re looking for more clarity, direction, and support in your health,
this may be the right place to start.

One of the most frustrating experiences in healthcare:
Trying something that should work… and seeing little to no change.
Same diagnosis. Same treatment.

Different outcomes. Because your body isn’t just responding to the treatment — it’s responding based on your physiology.
Your metabolism, hormone patterns, nervous system, and nutrient status all influence how you adapt and heal.

This is why good care isn’t just about choosing the “right” intervention.
It’s about paying attention to your response — and adjusting accordingly. Evidence tells us what can work. Your body tells us what is working.
And the best outcomes happen when both are considered.

If you’ve ever felt like something “should have worked” but didn’t,
you’re not the problem — the approach may just need to be more individualized.

After stopping birth control, it’s not always clear what your body is experiencing 🤍

Some symptoms may reflect temporary adjustment — while others may point to underlying conditions like PCOS.

Understanding the difference is key to choosing the right support.
