When cancer treatment ends, the support system often shrinks — just when your body is beginning the enormous work of rebuilding.

No one hands you a nutrition guide on the way out. And the generic “eat well and exercise” advice? Doesn’t quite capture what your body actually needs after chemotherapy, radiation, hormone therapy, or surgery.

Survivorship nutrition is specific, nuanced, and deeply individual. It’s about gut health, inflammation, hormone metabolism, micronutrient rebuilding, and sustainable energy — not a diet trend.
This carousel is a starting point. Save it, share it, and if you have questions — we’re here.

What’s one thing you wish someone had told you about nutrition after treatment? Share it in the comments. Your experience might be exactly what someone else needs to hear.

Your body starts sending fertility signals long before you’re ready to try.

Most people don’t know there are early signs that something might need support — and they’re not the signs you’d expect. You don’t need to be “trying” to pay attention to these.

Your periods are irregular, very painful, or have always been unpredictable — this is information, not just inconvenience.

You’ve been told you have PMOS, endometriosis, or thyroid issues and nobody has talked to you about what that means for future fertility.

Your cycle is “technically regular” but you have no idea if you’re actually ovulating — and you’ve never looked into it.

These aren’t reasons to panic. They’re reasons to be proactive — before you’re in the middle of an IVF cycle trying to understand why your body isn’t responding the way anyone expected.

Dr. Kelly Clinning, ND works with people navigating fertility challenges, TTC, and pre-conception optimization with a naturopathic, root-cause approach.

💬 Which of these early signs surprised you most? Drop a number (1, 2, or 3) in the comments.

IV therapy has a reputation problem. Between the hangover drips at wellness pop-ups and the influencer “glow drips,” it’s easy to dismiss it entirely — or expect miracles.

But in the context of hormone health? Used intentionally and clinically? The conversation changes.

Conditions like PMS, PMDD, endometriosis, perimenopause, and fertility challenges all create real physiological demands on the body. When those demands aren’t met — because of absorption issues, depletion, or the load your system is carrying — symptoms are harder to manage.

IV nutrient therapy delivers what the body needs directly into the bloodstream, at doses and absorption rates that oral supplements often can’t match.

Not a miracle. Not a shortcut. One well-chosen, clinically supervised tool — as part of a plan that actually looks at the full picture.

If you’d like to explore whether it makes sense for you, we offer free 15-minute consults — link in bio.

30 seconds of hormone education that might reframe everything.

Most people think of hormones as just estrogen and progesterone — the “female” ones. But your hormones are a whole ecosystem: cortisol, insulin, thyroid, testosterone, DHEA, and many more. And they are all talking to each other, all the time.

Which means when one is off, the ripple effects can show up as fatigue, weight changes, mood swings, irregular cycles, brain fog, sleep issues, skin changes, anxiety — and labs that come back “completely normal.”

This is why hormone health is not a single-symptom conversation. It’s a systems conversation.

Dr. Jessica Nazareth, ND takes a whole-system approach to hormone health — looking at the full hormonal picture, including the patterns that get missed on standard bloodwork.

“I’m not bad enough to need therapy.”

This is one of the most common things people say when they’re quietly exhausted, consistently overwhelmed, and really needing support.

The truth is: you don’t have to be in crisis to deserve a space that’s entirely yours. You’re allowed to want support before things fall apart. You’re allowed to go to therapy because you’re curious about yourself. Because life got complicated. Because you’re tired of feeling the way you feel.

If you’ve been thinking about starting therapy and waiting for a sign — this is it.

Integrative cancer care is not alternative medicine. Let’s clear that up.

It doesn’t replace chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, or your oncologist. It works alongside them — filling the gaps that conventional care, through no fault of its own, often doesn’t have time for.

Things like: why is my fatigue this severe and what can we actually do about it? What should I be eating right now, for this specific treatment? Why is my sleep completely broken and what’s the safest way to address it?

Integrative care also looks at the whole person. Not just the diagnosis. The immune system, the hormones, the gut, the nervous system, the emotional weight of what you’re carrying. Because cancer doesn’t just affect one part of you — and your support shouldn’t either.

Dr. Monica Velletri, ND works with people at every stage of the cancer journey — from newly diagnosed through long-term survivorship — in collaboration with their existing care team.

💬 What question about integrative cancer care have you been sitting with? Ask it in the comments — genuinely, ask.

Cancer survivorship is its own chapter. And it’s one that doesn’t get talked about enough.
After treatment ends, people often expect to feel relief — and many do. But many also feel lost, depleted, anxious, or physically unlike themselves. Hormones have shifted. Sleep is disrupted.

There’s no roadmap for this part.
You are not alone in that experience.

Integrative care in survivorship means rebuilding — gently, methodically, with a practitioner who understands what your body has been through and what it needs now.

If you’re in survivorship, or supporting someone who is: what’s one word you’d offer them right now? Share it in the comments.

What changes everything is when the pieces actually connect — when your nutrition, your naturopathic support, your emotional processing, and your conventional treatment are all in conversation with each other instead of living separately.

That’s what layered integrative care looks like. Not more appointments for the sake of it. A team that coordinates. Protocols that complement each other. Support that follows you through diagnosis, treatment, and beyond.

Because what you need six months into chemotherapy is different from what you need the week after your last session. And both are different from what you need two years into survivorship.

Dr. Monica Velletri, ND builds individualized care plans that bring these layers together — with your conventional oncology team, not instead of them.

Wellness during cancer doesn’t always look like green smoothies and a positive mindset.

Sometimes it looks like resting when your body asks you to. Letting someone bring you food.

Sitting with the hard feelings without performing okay-ness. Today — National Cancer Wellness Awareness Day — we want to hold space for the full, complicated, real experience of going through cancer.

Integrative care isn’t about replacing your conventional treatment. It’s about adding layers of support — physical, emotional, nutritional — so that you feel held through this experience, not just managed.

If you or someone you love is navigating a cancer diagnosis, we’re here.

There’s nothing wrong with coping — sometimes it’s exactly what you need to get through a hard season. But if coping has become your permanent strategy, your nervous system is working overtime to manage something that was never really resolved.

The difference matters. Coping says “I can handle this.” Healing asks “why do I keep needing to?”

In therapy, we’re not trying to help you white-knuckle your way through life. We’re trying to get to the place underneath — the pattern, the belief, the moment where things shifted — so that the hard feelings stop running the show.

If you’ve been “doing fine” for a long time but still feel like something’s off… that might be worth exploring.

💬 What’s one coping strategy you’ve been leaning on lately? No judgment — just curious.
