The baby’s head appears tilted downward and not in a straight line with the body.
Ideally, the ear, shoulder, and hip should be aligned, facing the breast directly.The nose looks very close or buried, suggesting the baby is not well positioned to take a deep latch.
In a good latch, the chin leads and presses firmly into the breast, with the nose free or just lightly touching.Not enough breast tissue is in the mouth (more ar**la should be taken in, especially below the ni**le).
