Does anyone provide daytime home dog boarding in Bristol? I have a patient who can't be taken on long group walks, engage in rough play etc., so needs a relaxed environment!

Proud to be a registered member of RAMP (Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners)! 🐾

Being RAMP registered means meeting recognised standards for professional practice, ongoing CPD, insurance, ethical conduct, and working collaboratively with veterinary surgeons.

For animal owners and veterinary professionals, the register provides reassurance as a trusted place to find qualified, accountable practitioners with confidence.

RAMP is doing such important work for our industry by promoting high standards, supporting transparency, strengthening public protection, and helping shape the future of animal musculoskeletal practice and legislation!

As a veterinary physiotherapist, being part of a professional register reflects my commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based, high-quality care for the animals I work with 💙

For any of my connections working in the Republic of Ireland, I'd really encourage you to participate in this, for the good of the profession! 😀

Irish Animal Only Physiotherapists

On the request of the VCI, we are holding a census on animal only (non-human) physiotherapists in the Republic of Ireland. For it, we'll need:

- Name
- Business name
- Qualification
- Animals Treated
- Area Covered

If we could PM me with this information before the 19th of June, we'd really appreciate it.
We'd also really appreciate it if this is shared as widely as possible, and if you'd let those not on social media know.

This could mark a very important step in the future of animal physiotherapy in Ireland.

So I did a very exciting thing recently... I was invited to deliver a training session for the amazing for their Business Basics members!

It was such a wonderful experience - OPH have been so inspirational to me over the years, so getting to connect with them directly was just incredible.

I really enjoyed my chat with Ané and do hope that firstly it gives vet rehab listeners some reassurance that if they are struggling with imposter style feelings and a lack of confidence - they're not alone! And hopefully it's given them lots of really practical things they can do to gain confidence and strengthen their professional identity.

Confidence isn’t something you either have… or don’t.
It’s a skill, and like any skill in veterinary rehabilitation, it can be trained, practiced, and developed over time.

In this month’s Business Basics, Ceola Reece Veterinary Physiotherapy joins Ané to break down practical, real-world strategies to help you build confidence in both your clinical work and your business.

Because for many vetrehabbers, confidence feels blocked by
❌ Perfectionism
❌ Overthinking
❌ Fear of getting it wrong

But here’s the shift…

👉 Confidence doesn’t come before action - it comes because of it.

Inside this session, we explore:
✔️ Simple, actionable ways to start building confidence
✔️ How to move forward without the elusive feeling of readiness
✔️ Finding practical ways to work around and with your perfectionism
✔️ Using your self-doubt as a catalyst for growth

This is about making confidence practical and accessible - no heavy mindset exercises, just practical ideas

Because the most confident practitioners aren’t the ones who know everything…
they’re the ones who are willing to take the next step anyway.

Thank you Ceola Reece for sharing your experience with us.

This training is now available in the Onlinepethealth Members Libraries.
