🌟 Meet the Team 🌟

We're getting pretty busy getting ready for moving to Kirkjuvagr House so we're going to take a break from our Meet the Team Campaign until we're settled in.

A Hugh Thankyou to Smiddybrae for inviting us along to their Funday on Saturday 🎈we all had a brilliant time , meeting up with friends,beautiful music, talented dancers and winning prizes 🍾well done to all involved in organising it 👏👏

A huge thank you to all the members of the public who came along to our open day sessions at Kirkjuvagr House Today - Thursday 27th August.

In total we had 290 people attend for tours, with 100 of those coming through our doors between 2 and 2.30pm!

Needless to say we were not expecting that volume of footfall so thank you for bearing with us as we re-jigged our tour set up to accommodate such large numbers.

We were very proud to show you our new home and look forward to welcoming you back again in the future.

We have had 190 visitors this afternoon to view Kirkjuvagr House. Thank you all for your patience while waiting for your tours.
We hope you all enjoyed your visit.

We had a productive and enjoyable visit from the fire service on Tuesday evening, when we gave them a tour of the building and ensured our evacuation and fire safety plans were in tip top shape prior to the big move.

Many thanks to Kirkwall and St Margaret's Hope Fire Brigade and to Craig Smith from Scottish fire and rescue service for coming along.

We’re welcoming anyone interested in joining our team to our Recruitment Day at Kirkjuvagr House! This is for posts across all of Adult Social Care Services.

The process is simple:

On arrival, let us know which position you’d like to apply for.

Complete an application form.

If your application is successful, you’ll be invited for an interview shortly after.

After your interview, take a seat, enjoy a cuppa ☕ and have a look around our facility on a guided tour.

At the end of the tour, you’ll be informed of the outcome of your interview.

No appointment necessary — all welcome!
