A result from my Class Business Awards interview on The Class Business Podcast that makes the case better than I ever could in a training slide.

One girl in Year 4. By week six of the program, she'd gone up three reading levels. No change to how she was taught to read. Just a change to what she was telling herself while she tried.

Her inner critic had been running "You can't do it" on loop, and that alone was enough to keep her stuck. Once she learned to intercept it with "I can do it," her brain started working again and the reading followed.

This is what I mean when I say self-talk isn't a soft skill. It's a practical, teachable tool with a measurable outcome, and it's exactly what I train educators to deliver through The Self Talk Academy.

Funny how perspective changes everything: on the ground it’s ‘they’ll sort it’, up there it’s ‘get me off now’.

The mind really does run the show.

An update from my Class Business Awards interview on The Class Business Podcast.

Alongside my CIC company, I've officially launched The Self Talk Academy, this is my training company, and just secured CPD accreditation on its first course. It trains school staff to deliver the confidence coaching program directly themselves.

A corporate training program for companies is next.

This is the shift from me delivering the work myself to equipping others to deliver it too, which is exactly why I built the Academy.
