July saw us celebrating a few of our favourite dates in the calendar, alongside all the everyday moments that make each month special 💜

We marked World Chocolate Day with a few well deserved treats, celebrated National Ice Cream Day with everyone's favourite flavours, and during , we took the opportunity to recognise our wonderful teams who make such a difference every day 🍦🍫

Alongside the celebrations, there were all the little moments that make each month what it is, catching up with friends, enjoying favourite activities and making the most of the summer days.

A beach ball, a little teamwork and plenty of smiles made for a lovely afternoon at Emberbrook Care Home ⚽😊

Our wonderful residents have been having great fun practising their catching and throwing skills with the beach ball, and they're getting better every time. There was lots of encouragement, plenty of laughter and a few impressive catches along the way. It's always wonderful to see everyone cheering each other on and enjoying time together 💜

There were plenty of familiar tunes and smiling faces at Emberbrook Care Home as our wonderful residents enjoyed a fun karaoke session together 🎤💜

Some of our lovely residents took to the microphone with confidence, treating us to some wonderful performances. Whether they were singing along or cheering each other on, it was a brilliant afternoon filled with music and plenty of applause 😊

A little throwback to National Chocolate Day earlier this month, and it is safe to say it went down a treat at Emberbrook Care Home 🍫💜

Our lovely residents had great fun dipping all sorts of fruit skewers into the chocolate fountain, with plenty of delicious combinations to try. The biggest laugh of the afternoon came when the chocolate fountain decided to overflow, leaving everyone in fits of giggles. It certainly made the day even more memorable! 😂😊

A little throwback to National Barbershop Music Appreciation Day at Emberbrook Care Home 🎶💜

Our lovely gentlemen enjoyed a relaxing afternoon of pampering with a fresh haircut while listening to some classic barbershop music. It was the perfect combination of a little self care, good tunes and a chance to sit back and enjoy being looked after.

A lovely way to celebrate the harmonies of barbershop music and enjoy some well deserved time to relax 😊

Making the most of the sunshine at Emberbrook Care Home ☀️💜

Our wonderful residents had great fun playing with the beach ball out in the garden, enjoying a little friendly fun together. There were plenty of laughs along the way, and it was a lovely way to spend a sunny afternoon 😊

Our amazing residents have continued enjoying getting involved in different activities around Emberbrook Care Home as part of 💜

Brian had fun giving the housekeeping team a visit and enjoying a little cleaning activity, while Katie spent some time at reception pretending to check the emails and seeing what goes on at the front desk. It certainly brought lots of lovely smiles 😊

It's been wonderful to see our residents trying something a little different, spending time with our team and enjoying everyday moments around the home.

As part of Good Care Month, June enjoyed lending a hand at reception at Emberbrook Care Home by answering the phone📞💜

Taking part in everyday jobs like this is a lovely way for our lovely residents to stay involved, build confidence and enjoy meaningful social interaction. June had great fun giving it a go and enjoyed being part of the team at reception 😊

Good Care Month is all about celebrating the little moments that help our residents stay active, connected and involved in daily life.

National Pamper Day at Emberbrook and our residents certainly made the most of a relaxing afternoon together 💜

We had soothing aloe vera face masks, refreshing cucumber placed over tired eyes, and plenty of chatter while everyone enjoyed a little bit of well deserved downtime. There was a lovely calm feel around the home as everyone settled in and took a bit of time just for themselves 😊

June brought plenty of reasons to celebrate across our homes, with lots of special moments shared together along the way 💜

We marked Care Home Open Week by welcoming visitors into our homes, celebrated Pride Month with colourful activities and conversations, and enjoyed making Father's Day a memorable one for the wonderful father figures in our community 🌈

There was also time for some light hearted fun as we tucked into National Fish and Chips Day, got creative for National Cheese Day, and found lots of other reasons to smile throughout the month 🧀🐟
