You now need an appointment to be seen in the evening at our Urgent Treatment Centres (UTCs), our UTCs remain open seven days a week, between 8am and 8pm.

📞 Always call first. The team can assess your symptoms and direct you to the most appropriate service, including arranging an appointment at a UTC if needed.

During walk-in hours, you can attend without an appointment:
🔹 Ilkeston, Ripley and Whitworth: 8am–5pm
🔹 Buxton: 8am–4pm

💙 97% said our clinicians listen carefully to them.
💙 97% felt they were treated with care and concern.
💙 94% reported that their needs were met during their appointment.
💙 93% rated our reception and administration teams as helpful.

We're also pleased to see improvements in access to our services, with more patients successfully using our website, telephone service and the NHS App to manage their healthcare.

While these results are encouraging, we recognise there are areas where we can do even better. We remain committed to listening to your feedback and continually improving the services we provide for our community.

Our Flu Vaccination Walk-In Clinic will be taking place on Saturday 10th October, in the afternoon.

💉 If you are eligible for a flu vaccination, please keep this date free. No appointment will be needed for the walk-in clinic.

👵👴 Are you aged 75 or over?
We will be contacting you directly to book an appointment for your flu vaccination.

More information, including the clinic time, will follow shortly.

The UK doesn’t currently have an official GP Appreciation Day, so as a practice we’ve decided to make this date our own — a chance to stop, recognise and say thank you to the wonderful clinicians who provide expert care, support, reassurance and compassion every single day.
