The “When am I going home?” campaign, is a national NHS initiative focused on reducing unnecessary long hospital stays.
The campaign encourages patients—particularly older adults—and their families to feel confident asking questions about their care, recovery, and discharge plans. By promoting clearer communication, it helps patients feel more in control and supports safe, timely recovery at home or in the most appropriate care setting.

As a GP practice, we recognise that digital screens are now a common part of everyday family life. However, the early years are vital for a child’s development, with around 90% of brain development occurring before the age of five.
New guidance has been introduced to support parents and carers of young children in managing screen time in a healthy way. This advice aims to help families support their child’s social, emotional, and cognitive development during these important early years.

We are pleased to report that our clinical systems are now beginning to return and access is gradually being restored across our sites.

Whilst services are improving, some systems remain slower than usual and there may still be intermittent issues as national services stabilise. Our teams are working through a backlog of requests and appointments that built up during the outage.

We would like to thank our patients for their patience and understanding throughout today's disruption, and our staff for their hard work in maintaining safe patient care during the outage.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide further updates if required.

⚠️ Clinical System Outage ⚠️

We are currently experiencing a widespread outage affecting our clinical systems. This means that we are unable to access patient records and some services are temporarily unavailable.

As a result:

Online consultations are currently unavailable.
There may be delays in responding to patient requests.
Some appointments and administrative processes may take longer than usual.
Phone line have intermittent connection

Our teams are working hard to continue providing safe care and are following contingency arrangements whilst the issue is resolved.

We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding. We will provide further updates as soon as more information becomes available.

💙 Men’s Health Week 2026 💙

This Men’s Health Week, take a moment to check if you're up to date with the NHS screening and vaccination programmes that help protect your health.

Screening can detect problems early – often before symptoms appear – when treatment is most effective.

✔️ Bowel cancer screening for people aged 50–74
✔️ Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) screening for men aged 65
✔️ Diabetic eye screening for everyone aged 12+ with diabetes
✔️ HPV vaccination to help protect against HPV-related cancers
✔️ Vaccinations for older adults, including flu, shingles, RSV, COVID-19 and pneumococcal vaccines (depending on age and eligibility)

Many conditions can develop without symptoms, which is why screening and vaccination are so important. If you receive an invitation, don't ignore it – it could make a lifesaving difference.

📩 Check your eligibility, attend your appointments, and encourage the men in your life to do the same.

Prevention starts with action.
