There’s always something tempting waiting in our Toast Rack Café, and today we’re showcasing some of the delicious treats freshly created by our talented chef, Kruno! 🧁🍓

From indulgent chocolate cake to beautifully presented banana treats and freshly baked muffins, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. ❤️

We love seeing our communal spaces filled with delicious food, happy conversations and residents enjoying a little moment of indulgence. ☕️🍰

🎂 A very special 99th birthday celebration! 🎉

Today we had the pleasure of celebrating a very special gentleman’s 99th birthday here at Wandsworth Common Care Home.

He spent his birthday visiting his beloved wife, who is one of our residents, and we couldn’t let the occasion pass without making it extra special ❤️

Our team made him a birthday cake to enjoy during his visit, and it was so lovely to see them celebrating this wonderful milestone together.

Happy 99th Birthday! 🥳🎂 Wishing you a wonderful day filled with love, happiness and precious memories.

🌸🌿 A Little Garden Centre Adventure!
A lovely outing with our residents, enjoying the last of the summer flowers! We wandered around, admired the beautiful plants and each chose our favourite ones to bring a little more colour and greenery into our garden.
Now we’re looking forward to getting our green fingers busy and creating something beautiful together!

🎨✂️ Following in the Footsteps of Matisse!
What a wonderful afternoon of collage with our amazing teacher, Georgiana! Our residents had great fun exploring colours, shapes and textures, inspired by this great master of colour and collage.
There was plenty of creativity and sharing of holiday stories along the way. 🎨✂️

🇲🇽🌞 Mexican Fiesta at our Summer Fête! This year, we celebrated with a Mexican Fiesta in honour of one of our residents, who returned to England after spending more than 20 years in Mexico. With Mariachi music, dancing, a piñata and delicious Mexican food, we hope he felt right at home and we certainly all enjoyed the fiesta🎶💃🌮🇲🇽
