Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Internship Opportunity!

Are you looking for an internship that supports your goals and professional growth? Are you passionate about community mental health?

We are looking for High School graduates, or Bachelor-or-Master-level generalist interns to join our internship program for the Spring 2027 Semester!

As a Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Intern, you will learn what it's like to work for a community behavioral mental health agency while supporting our Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program!

What is Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR)?

The PSR program supports and empowers clients with a mental health diagnosis to learn, rebuild, and improve daily living skills, including Independent Living, Social Skills, and Vocational Skills.

As an intern, you will support the PSR Program, including but not limited to,
- Support current PSRs.
- Check progress notes and documentation.
- Support clients by providing updates on services and providing resources as needed.
- Support, observe, and shadow PSR support groups.

As an intern, you will also have the opportunity to learn what it is like to work for a community mental health agency, including but not limited to,
- Supporting administration.
- Checking client and insurance eligibility.
- Calling and assisting clients.
- Attending community events and outreach opportunities to represent PBS.
- Working on projects to improve processes for Administration, Providers, and Clients.
- All other duties as assigned.

Position Information:
- This is a Part-Time Internship that lasts for 4 months.
- Must commit to a minimum of 10-15 hours per week.
- Must be on-site in our Main Office.
