Truths are specific facts, ideas, or statements that match reality and accurately reflect how things are.

Knowing the TRUTH - straight from God, in His Word is foundational & freeing!

Knowing God's Truth gives us comfort & the surest understanding of all things!

Why am I so sad? Why am I so troubled? I will put my hope in God, and once again I will praise him, my savior and my God.

Why am I so sad? Why am I so troubled? I will put my hope in God, and once again I will praise him, my savior and my God. Psalm 42:5 GNT

How we look at/perceive things can be Life-Changing!

Seeing anxiety as my human system's response to something in our lives that we need to bring to God . . . would/could become transformational!

“What if my anxiety is actually trying to protect me? . . . What if that same anxiety was something you could actually begin to trust (as a signal to bring something in our lives toGod)?

The Holy Spirit, which resides in you, can bring comfort and connection and you don’t have to carry anxiety alone.

This is where healing begins.” Compassion over Criticism: Viewing Your Anxiety Through a New Lens Devotional

[12] After the earthquake there was a fire—but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire there was the soft whisper of a voice.
[13] When Elijah heard it, he covered his face with his cloak and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave. A voice said to him, “Elijah, what are you doing here?”
1 Kings 19:12-13 GNT

Elijah had just had a showdown with the prophets of Baal & Jezebel had threatened to chase him down & kill him! He elected to run & hide.

Sometimes, life throws us a curveball! Rather than take on the situation . . . He ran & hid!

Lord, help us face life open handedly - looking to see what's next!

What to do when I need help?

1st I'll look for the most reliable resource!

The Psalmist, pondered this question & concluded:

. . . I realize that our true help and protection is only from the Lord, our Creator who made the heavens and the earth. . . . Psalm 121:1, 2

Great conclusion . . . Start with The Designer/Creator of ALL!

Furthermore, He's clearly invited us to come to Him in these times & situations!

“My grace is all you need, for my power is greatest when you are weak (yielded).” Jesus

Leave all your worries with him, because he cares for you.
1 Peter 5:7 GNT

Because His answer was & still is: “My grace is all you need, for my power is greatest when you are weak (yielded).” I am most happy, then, to be proud of my weaknesses, in order to feel the protection of Christ's power over me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 GNT

Weak/weakness could precipitate a willingness to surrender/yield to God!

What is the stuff of life about?

Anxiety is a powerful emotion that needs to be looked at similarly to riding bucking broncs or bull riding! 🤔

The goal is NOT about controlling the animal . . . But taking the ride!

What works best . . . in all of these scenarios is to expect God to be there - in the middle of it and allow Him & your creativity to come together!

Anxiety may be the necessary ingredient to release & harness the creativity God has placed within YOU!

“What if instead of judging our anxiety, we were curious about it?” Compassion over Criticism Devotional

To have knowledge, you must first have reverence for the Lord. Stupid people have no respect for wisdom and refuse to learn. Proverbs 1:7 GNT

This is ground zero . . . THE wisest, most valuable place to "start" with . . . in LIFE!

"The foundation of knowledge is to fear the Lord—to honor and respect God, to live in awe of his power, and to obey his Word. Faith in God should be the controlling principle for your understanding of the world, your attitudes, and your actions. Trust in God—he will make you truly wise." LAB

To have knowledge, you must first have reverence for the LORD. Stupid people have no respect for wisdom and refuse to learn.
