The 19th Annual C2Adopt Golf Tournament held Sept. 14 at The Federal Club raised more than $110,000, with all proceeds going to support the organization in its mission of finding permanent connections for children waiting in the foster care system.

This fall Dr. Carla Shaffer will again be offering a series of groups for parents of children who are experiencing anxiety. This program can be especially helpful with anxiety related to school attendance and school refusal. The groups are called SPACE – Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions. SPACE is a parent-based program for children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD, and related problems and has been proven to be very effective! Attached is a flyer describing the SPACE groups Carla is starting in October (virtual and in-person offerings) and how to contact her.
