IT’S TIME 👟✨ is officially BACK for its 22nd year, and this class of young designers are out of this world. 🌎 🚀🪐☄️ Six brave kids. Six powerful journeys. Six designs that turn resilience into art and hope into something you can hold in your hands.

For more than two decades, Nike and Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Doernbecher Children’s Hospital have teamed up to give young patients the chance to tell their stories through design — and every year, the impact grows. These limited‑edition sneakers don’t just look incredible; they change lives.

With over $44 million raised since the program began, Freestyle helps families access the care they need, fuels groundbreaking research for kids everywhere, and supports specialized treatments found nowhere else in the region.

The full 2026 collection sponsored by Shoe Palace will be unveiled at the annual auction on Friday, Oct. 16 at the Portland Art Museum — you won’t want to miss what these young creators have dreamed up. Learn more: https://bit.ly/4uYyQMs

Hope, creativity, and community — this is Freestyle. 💙👟

A huge ⭐️ thank you ⭐️ to the Funny Farm Early Learning Center, Inc. kids and their families! For over 15 years their little learners have been spreading kindness. This year, students finished a 👟FUN RUN 🏃🏃‍♀️💨 completing an incredible 596 laps and raising $3,777 for our patients!

We love that these 3 to 5‑year‑olds learn about the NICU and caring for tiniest patients — their commitment to philanthropy even earned them an award in 2018 for OHSU Foundation's Kids Making Miracles. May their impact on our patients continue to be felt every year. ❤️

Make your Costco run count this month. 💛

Since 1988, Costco employees, members, and suppliers have rallied to support Children's Miracle Network (CMN) — raising more than $690 million for pediatric patients.

This year’s CMN Champion, Izzy, got to visit our local Tigard Costco and go behind the scenes. Izzy’s joy is a reminder that your support delivers expert care, inspires hope, and creates a future of possibility. At just 6 years old, Izzy has faced hydrocephalus, multiple brain surgeries, and countless challenges with unstoppable resilience. When you support Costco’s CMN campaign, you’re helping kids like Izzy receive lifesaving care — including 12 in Oregon and SW Washington whose support goes to Doernbecher.

Thank you for helping change kids’ health in our community!

We for Ava — a bright, funny, and wonderfully kind 9‑year‑old who fills every room with laughs.

According to her mom, Ava loves to play teacher and keeps her family laughing with her practical jokes. Her happiness is contagious, her wit is unmatched, and her heart is pure gold.

What many don’t see is the strength behind that smile. Ava had to re‑learn how to walk, play, and run, and she tackled every stage of her cancer journey with courage far beyond her years. Now tumor-free for five years, she's using every chance to dance it off! 🪩💃 Her favorites include Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Alicia Keys and her favorite song is "Happier" by marshmello 🎶

We’re dancing with you, Ava! Show your support at gograyinmay.net

We for Carsen because this kid is unstoppable!

Despite 18 months of chemo, an 11‑hour spinal surgery, a wheelchair, plates and screws in his neck, and a neck brace… this kid showed up with more heart and grit than most adults ever will.

He’s earned a 4.0 GPA every single quarter of middle school, is receiving the Principal’s Award AND the Citizenship Award. PLUS he still found time to shine in sports. He was on Varsity basketball 🏀 and his AAU team went to state. He runs track 🏃 and just finished districts and got invited to run in state at the Meet of champions for the 400 meter dash. 🥇 Go Carsen!

He loves fishing, his dogs, and his friends — and he does it all with the sweetest, most positive attitude.
Carsen, you are an inspiration to your peers, your community, and every person lucky enough to know you. Support Carsen: gograyinmay.net
