Joya was thrilled to participate in Spokane Public Schools’ Adapted Field Day yesterday at Shadle Park High School. 🧡🩵

Our bubble station - run by some amazing 8th grade volunteers from St. Aloysius Gonzaga - was a huge hit on a beautiful sunny day. ☀️

We loved the opportunity to connect with over 400 special education students from Spokane and surrounding districts. 🫧🫧🫧

Thank you to everyone made this joyful, inclusive day so special. 🧡🩵

Thank you Hutton Settlement and West Valley Kiwanis!

Last Saturday, the Hutton Settlement team proudly joined forces with the West Valley Kiwanis to support the annual Joya Penny Drive 💰. Giving back and lifting up fellow nonprofits is a vital part of our mission, and we're grateful for opportunities like this to serve alongside others who care deeply about our community and our kids.

The work being done at Joya is truly life-changing, providing early intervention services that help children with developmental delays build the skills they need to thrive. And West Valley Kiwanis continues to make a meaningful impact through their dedication to improving lives of children and families, one project at a time.

We are honored to play even a small role in supporting these incredible organizations and the important work they do every day. 🧡

And hey-if pennies are on their way out, we figured we'd better put them to good use while we can...a lasting legacy for the humble copper coin!

Thank you Washington Trust Bank for your continued generosity!

Empowering little learners and uplifting families. Joya ensures that no family is ever turned away due to inability to pay, a promise they have continued to uphold for 60 years. Their work ensures that every child, regardless of circumstance, has access to early intervention, therapy, and family support during the most important years of development.

This past year, 100% of children in their program showed gains in developmental skills, and more than half reached their age-appropriate milestones.

Their commitment to families is extraordinary and we are honored with the opportunity to support their mission through our most recent donation of $3,000.

At Washington Trust, we're proud to support the awesome work of our local community partners. To learn more about Joya, follow them at Joya Child & Family Development.
