Grace Occupational Therapy provides innovative and practical therapy for children with disabilities; specialising in helping kids with ADHD, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Fragile X, Sensory Processing Disorders, Developmental Delays and learning difficulties. Our service individualises every therapy plan because we recognise each child has a specific need & learns differently. We have a fully equipped

sensory learning centre where children & their families can fully engage in their therapy programs & have fun whilst learning skills for life. We provide both a consultancy approach to disability management and direct therapy within the community sector. We provide solutions for children that may have simple or complex disability needs. Our specialty includes; paediatric wheelchair prescriptions and positioning, direct treatment for children with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Sensory Processing Disorders, motor planning difficulties, developmental delays & concentration or behavioural problems. Funding is available for eligible children, including Fahcsia funding. Medicare and Private health funding is also available for children; contact us directly for more information on funding options. Your child's wheelchair fit perfectly a year ago. Does it still?

Kids grow. Bodies change.

Needs shift, sometimes gradually, sometimes overnight after a new diagnosis, a growth spurt, or a change in strength and endurance.

But wheelchairs don't come with a reminder to check back in.

Many families only realise something's off once posture starts to suffer, transfers get harder, or their loved one starts avoiding activities they used to manage just fine.

A reassessment isn't just for when something's broken.

It's part of making sure the equipment keeps up with the needs of the user, not the other way around.

At Grace Therapy, our occupational therapists review fit, posture, strength and function over time, not just at the first prescription.

If it's time for an update, we handle the clinical assessment, supplier trials, and NDIS documentation from start to finish.

Movement and coordination are often the most visible signs of recovery, so it makes sense that people focus there first.

But brain injury reaches far beyond the physical.

For many children, teens and young adults, the harder challenges show up in other areas: memory that doesn't work the way it used to.

⭕️ Difficulty planning or following multi-step tasks.
⭕️ Big emotions that seem to come out of nowhere.
⭕️ Fatigue that makes a normal school or work day feel exhausting.

These changes aren't always visible. And they can appear or shift months after the injury itself, once school, friendships and daily routines are back in full swing.

This is exactly why brain injury rehabilitation needs to look at the whole picture, not just physical recovery.

Our Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program supports children, teens and young adults with cognitive skills, emotional regulation, energy management and daily living, alongside physical goals.

For families in regional and rural NSW, "just book an appointment" is rarely that simple.

The nearest paediatric occupational therapist might be a two hour drive away.

Waitlists can stretch for months.

And when appointments are the only option, missing one because of weather, illness or work can set things back weeks.

We hear this often from families outside Sydney.

It's not that they don't want support for their child. It's that the system wasn't built with distance in mind.

That's why we created Country Connections, our telehealth program for kids, teens and young adults living in regional and rural NSW.
