This Mental Health Awareness Month, we want to remind you that taking care of your mental health doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes the smallest actions create the biggest shifts.

This week, try a simple 4-4-6 breathing reset. Inhale for 4 counts, hold for 4, exhale for 6. This gentle technique signals safety to your nervous system, helping to quiet anxiety and bring you back to the present moment.

Kevin is a Registered Psychologist at Assured Psychology with a truly unique path to practice.

Before returning to psychology, Kevin was a practicing lawyer in rural Alberta. He realized what he valued most was the deeply personal, collaborative work of helping people find their way forward, so he earned a Master of Counselling from the University of Lethbridge and never looked back.

Kevin works with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, stress, and relationship challenges. His approach is integrative and tailored to each person, combining clinical expertise with the unique wisdom each client brings to the room. Outside the office,

Kevin prioritizes self-care, balance, and self-compassion, and brings that same intention to every session.
