Doreen and family wish to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their thoughtful kind words of sympathy, cards, flowers and support following the sad loss of Bill. Our sincere thanks to the staff at Doctor Gray’s, Chalmers and Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for the care, kindness and compassion shown to Bill and to our family throughout. A special thank you to David Urquhart for his support, guidance and professionalism, to Sharon Short for delivering such a lovely service and heartfelt tribute celebrating Bill’s life and character, to Boda Flowers for the beautiful spray and to the Cullen Bay for the lovely teas. Thank you to everyone who were able to attend the private service and pay their respects. Bill will be greatly missed, fondly remembered and forever in our hearts. “Till we meet again.”

Peacefully at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Sunday August 9, 2026. Willian Stephen Cu***ng ( Bill ) aged 80 years, 11 Durn Drive Portsoy ( former employee at Reidstack ) dearly loved husband of Doreen, nee French, proud father of Mary ‘Jane’ and Sally Anne, father-in-law of Rodney ( Paddy ) and a much loved granda of Fraser and Callum and brother of Sheila and the late Helen. Funeral private by his own request. He will be sorely missed.

Grigor, Carolyne and family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone for the many kind expressions of sympathy shown to them following the sad loss of Meggie. Deepest gratitude to all the staff at Ward 6 at Dr Gray’s, and Seafield hospital for the excellent care and compassion shown to Meggie in the short time she was there. A special thanks goes to David Urquhart for his professionalism, and for all his support and guidance arranging the funeral, and to the Rev Jaco Boonzaaier for his touching service. Thank you to Lotus Petal in Keith for the floral arrangement and to Silverspoon catering for the teas following the service and to all who paid their respects at her private service. Meggie will be sorely missed and forever in our hearts.

Alan, Paula, Carrie-Ann and Alana would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all family, friends, neighbours and colleagues for the many kind expressions of sympathy, support and love shown to them following the sad loss of Gladys, a dearly loved wife, mum, granny and friend to so many. Sincere thanks are extended for the cards, flowers, phone calls, messages, visits and every act of kindness received during this difficult time. Special thanks to Rev. John Gow for his touching and personal service, to David and Wullie Urquhart for their care, compassion and professionalism in arranging the funeral, to Two Buds Florist for the beautiful floral tributes, and to Silver Spoon Catering and Portsoy Church Centre for providing and hosting the lovely teas after the service. Margaret Elizabeth ( nee Grant ) Meggie aged 74 years, dearly loved wife of the late Andy Finnie and beloved mum of the late Ross, cherished sister to Grigor and the late Ali and Maurice a much loved sister-in-law, auntie and a treasured pally to Carol. Sylvia and Gary wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to all relatives, friends, neighbours and old customers for the kind expressions of sympathy via calls, cards, flowers, messages and visits after the sad loss of Helen, a much loved mam, granny and great granny. We extend our sincere gratitude to Cera Care and all The Nursing Team for looking after mam with such care and compassion in assisting Helen’s wishes to stay at home. Helen (nee Stronach), aged 100 years, formerly of the Boyne Hotel, Portsoy, beloved wife of the late George Christie, dearly loved mother of Sylvia, Gary and the late George, much loved granny, great granny and friend to many.
