Welcome, Sarah! ❤️
We are so excited to welcome Sarah to The Therapy Collective! Beginning September 2026, Sarah will be offering low-cost counselling for individuals 16 years of age and older.
Sarah is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) through Yorkville University and brings a collaborative, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach to her work. She is passionate about creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges.
Sarah has a special interest in supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, transgender and gender-diverse clients, and parents and caregivers of q***r and trans children. As both a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and the parent of transgender children, she brings both lived experience and deep compassion to her work, offering affirming and culturally responsive care where clients can feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
In addition to gender- and sexuality-related concerns, Sarah works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, caregiver stress, emotional regulation challenges, relationship and family concerns, identity development, self-esteem, and neurodiversity. She believes therapy isn’t about “fixing” people, but about helping individuals reconnect with their strengths, values, and authentic selves while developing practical tools for everyday life.
