Garforth and District Walking Group!
24 Aug 2026 - Meeting @ The Maypole in Barwick at 10:00 am for a two hour walk towards Thorner and back via Scholes.
31 Aug 2026 - Meeting @ the Miners Arms at 10:00am for a 4 mile circular walk to The Springs. Refreshment option and w/c at The Springs. Linda will be your walk leaders tel. 07940 284267.
7 Sept 2026 - Meeting @ Monk Fryston Hall entrance gate at 10:00am for a short walk with an interesting twist. Less than 4 miles varied walking with views of the railway. Please share a lift if possible as parking is limited in the area.
14 Sept 2026 - Meeting @ The Fox Public House Thorner (outside). The walk is towards Shadwell and Scarcroft Grange. This walk will start at 10:00 am for a walk lasting roughly two hours.
21 Sept 2026 - Meeting @ The Gaping Goose Garforth at 10:00 am for a 4 mile walk to Sainsburys coffee shop (Starbucks) and the bus back or a further 3 miles, via the Springs using footpaths back to the start.

All walks will be muddy after rain so suitable footwear is recommended.
Please book in advance by texting Melvin on 07787 100472, who will answer any queries you have. Further walks will be organised and details distributed to those supplying Email addresses.
Every walk is taken at your own risk. Any leader cannot be held responsible for the safety of others.
