What a fantastic day we’ve had celebrating our Summer Garden Party! 🎉🌺

Our lovely kitchen team treated us to a delicious feast of hot dogs, burgers, chips and some yummy cakes — thank you for all your hard work! 🍔🌭🍟🍰

We were also delighted to welcome Alex and his lovely ice cream van, who came along and treated everyone to some delicious ice creams! 🍦😋

The entertainment was absolutely fantastic! 🎶 We enjoyed a wonderful show from John Sessions, followed by the amazing dance show duo Chi & Carrie, who had us all entertained and dancing along. 💃🕺

We were also very lucky to be joined by our wonderful storyteller Debbie Spain, who shared her storytelling talents with us and has even published her own book on Amazon! 📖✨

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today such a special and memorable day. ❤️

Good food, great entertainment, lots of laughter and wonderful company — the perfect summer celebration! ☀️🌺🍦🎶

Today was harvest day at Heathlands! 💚 Our wonderful residents have worked so hard growing and caring for our vegetables, and today we got to enjoy

We harvested carrots, tomatoes and potatoes — all lovingly grown by our residents!

A huge well done to our residents — what a fantastic harvest! 🌿💚

Today, the lovely Lucy from Creative Minds came along to spend some time with our residents and lead a fantastic “Under the Sea” themed arts and crafts activity.

Our residents had lots of fun getting creative, exploring their artistic sides and bringing their own colourful underwater masterpieces to life!

A huge thank you to Lucy for another fun and creative session — we can’t wait to see what we create next! 💕🎨

Some of our lovely residents enjoyed a lovely little trip to the local shop with activity team Tammy and Adelle to pick up one of everyone’s favourite summer treats… ICE CREAM!

It was a great opportunity to get out into the community, enjoy a change of scenery and, of course, choose our favourite icecream! There were plenty of smiles, laughs and some very important decisions to be made in the ice cream aisle!

Sometimes it’s the simple outings that create the sweetest memories.

Also we would like to congratulate our lovely Resident Jill who won our sunflower competition with her having the tallest sunflower. She was awarded with a lovely sunflower garden knome which has took pride of place in her room

Today we enjoyed a relaxing and creative day.

Some of our residents spent time knitting, creating beautiful pieces while enjoying a lovely chat together. Others took part in aqua painting, watching colourful pictures magically appear with just water – a calming and enjoyable activity that sparked lots of smiles.

It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, expressing their creativity, and spending quality time together. 💙

What a fantastic afternoon we had today at Heathlands Care Home! 🎤☀️

We were delighted to welcome the wonderful Julie Nevada, who took time out of her busy Tina Live schedule to perform for our residents. Her incredible energy, powerful vocals and fantastic entertainment had everyone singing along, clapping and reminiscing.

With the sunshine shining down, our garden was the perfect setting for a wonderful afternoon filled with music, laughter and smiles. It was lovely to see so many residents, families and staff enjoying the performance together.

A huge thank you to Julie for making the afternoon so special – we can’t wait to welcome you back again! ❤️🎶

Our residents have been getting wonderfully creative over the past few days during our arts and crafts sessions!

Everyone enjoyed designing and decorating their own unique mugs, each one reflecting their individual personality and creativity. We also had lots of fun making beautiful fruit bowl collages, with some fantastic colourful masterpieces created along the way. 🍎🍇🎨

To top it all off, congratulations to our World Cup sweepstake winners, Jenifer and Alan! 🏆⚽ We hope you enjoy your prizes!

Well done to everyone who took part. It’s always wonderful to see our residents expressing themselves, having fun, and sharing plenty of smiles together. 💙
