Self care is vital for our mental and physical health so why do so many of us struggle to make time for it ??
Raised in a world where burn out is a honour and giving your all all the time is seen as standard makes it extremely hard to push back.
Self care is an act of rebellion against a standard that is outdated and impossible to maintain.
Creating a self care routine can be difficult , that little voice telling you 'you should be' but in reality we need to rest, to play, to have fun and do things for no other reason than we want to because its these things that revitalise us , reset us, detox us from modern life.
