Coastal family trip = so much more than the destination. It was finding the heart glimmers—in nature, in the shadows, in river-filled potholes, and among the rocks. The little moments that remind us to slow down, look closer, and seeing the magic through children’s eyes. 🤍🌊✨

Does a bungee jump count as a glimmer? 💛 I think so.

I got to introduce my family to the thrill of jumping—well… one niece, brother-in-law and the nephews were brave enough! 😄 Bonus for this veteran jumper: I got to do a backwards handoff jump.

It’s been 30+ years since my very first bungee jump in New Zealand, and this time I was much closer to home, near Nanaimo, where I first watched people leap off a bridge and tucked that moment away as a core memory.

Funny how life comes full circle. From watching in awe to jumping again decades later—and now sharing that experience with the next generation.

Core memory: locked. 💙🪢✨

Today we gave Dad the send-off he deserved.

He loved the water, so taking him out one last time just felt right. We were lucky enough to be surrounded by the most incredible whales, watching them up close as they surfaced and flipped their tails. It was one of those moments that takes your breath away.

It felt so special to say goodbye in a place he loved so much. Something I’ll never forget.

Love you forever, Dad. 🤍🌊🐋
