GARDEN CLUB members have been super busy of late helping to pot up new flowers for the garden. Keeping up with the weeding and watering is a favourite with our wonderful residents.
We chat and reminisce about their hobbies when they had their own gardens. One of our residents was a botanist. He loves the garden and feels happiest when walking around it.

Lots of our wonderful residents had dogs when they lived at home so it's great to be able to pet them whenever possible.

Now that the warm, sunny weather has returned we can now all venture back into the garden. Some of the members of our Garden Club have been busy helping Sharon & Chloè tidy up the flowerbeds and pots. We've planted sunflower seeds courtesy of Pam and some wildflower seeds for the borders. The flower troughs are full of new plants so everywhere should become much more colourful and fragrant. Gardening keeps our residents fit and of course there's nothing like a nice dose of Vitamin D to keep us healthy!

Sharon, Chloè and others love to join in with various activities during the week. Sometimes we play games, colour and draw, go shopping, learn to crochet, sit at the front and watch the world go by. It may be a small thing but it puts a big smile on everyone's faces!
