How do you introduce repeating patterns to children in a way that's fun and engaging? 🎨

In this week's Teaching Tips, we explore a simple painting activity that helps EYFS learners develop an understanding of repeating patterns through play.

Using everyday resources like paint, sponges and blocks, adults can model simple sequences while encouraging children to explore, experiment and communicate.

The best part?

The activity grows with the child.

You can start with simple two-step patterns before building up to more complex sequences as their confidence develops.

Sometimes, the most effective learning happens when children are simply enjoying the process.

Recently we hosted our annual SuperCare Fun Day.. and the day really lived up to its name!

The work our adults do every day can be incredibly rewarding, but it's also demanding.
That's why days like this matter so much.

It's a chance to switch off, let off some steam, build stronger relationships within the teams and even across our homes and offices, while enjoying a little healthy competition along the way.
