Curious about House of Breath, but not quite sure where to begin?

Our doors will be open this September + October for you to simply come in.

No session to book. No programme. No expectation to take part in anything.

Come and explore the studio, meet Fai, ask questions, learn a little more about the different ways we work with breath, sound and the nervous system or simply get a feel for the space.

Sometimes the first step is just walking through the door.

OPEN STUDIO
26th September · 12–4pm
2nd October · 10–4pm

Drop in whenever suits you. Stay for five minutes or stay for a chat.

September & October at House of Breath.

As we move into a new season, the studio continues to offer spaces to pause, reconnect and meet yourself where you are.

Whether you’re completely new to breathwork, looking for a space to simply rest, or ready to explore the work more deeply, there are three ways to join us over the coming months:

The Gentle Breath Circle - an approachable introduction to Conscious Connected Breathwork, sound and somatic practice.

Return to Regulation - a deeper, carefully held exploration of breathwork and somatic practice, with choice and consent at the centre.

Resting Hour - an hour dedicated to slowing down, unwinding and allowing the body to settle.

Each offers something a little different. Swipe through to explore the sessions and find the space that feels right for you.

September & October dates are now open to book.

Why Functional Breathwork?
It’s a question I’m often asked.
For me, it comes from years of movement, sport and a fascination with how the body works.
Functional Breathwork is about the breath that’s already happening, your everyday breathing patterns, while you’re awake and while you sleep. It looks at the foundation beneath every movement, every recovery, every moment of rest and everyday life.
Because the way you breathe doesn’t exist separately from the way you live. It can influence how you move, sleep, recover, perform and feel.
I’ve seen first-hand how understanding and improving these everyday breathing patterns can create meaningful change, not just in sport, but across daily life.
It’s why Functional Breathwork has become such a big part of my work, and why I’m so passionate about sharing it with others.
How you breathe truly impacts how you live.

A little glimpse into life at House of Breath.
No two days here look quite the same.
There might be a 1:1 Breath Assessment in the morning, time spent exploring how someone’s breathing is affecting their sleep, movement or recovery, preparing the studio for an evening circle, conversations and, usually, Derek somewhere nearby.

I want to share a little more of what happens in and around House of Breath over the coming months. Not just the sessions themselves, but the everyday moments that make this space what it is.
Because the work isn’t only about what happens during a session. It’s about bringing greater awareness to how we breathe, move, recover and live every day.

Train your body. Train your breath.

If you’re committed to improving your performance, don’t overlook the one thing you do every second of every workout.

Functional Breathwork can support better endurance, faster recovery, improved posture and more efficient movement, all through learning how to breathe more effectively.

Every programme begins with a Breath Assessment before moving into a personalised plan designed around your goals.
Your breath is your foundation.

Long before anyone arrives, the space is prepared.
Mats laid out.
Blankets unfolded.
Sound checked.
The room settling into itself.
These small details matter.
Because the environment is part of the experience.
Before the breath.
Before the sound.
Before the session begins.
The space is already holding the work.✨

At House of Breath, sound is infused with somatic practices and a carefully curated environment designed to deepen what you experience.
From the moment you arrive, the invitation is to begin slowing down.
The space, the sound, the lighting, the pace of the session - every element is considered to support attention, energy, and the unseen processes that often go unnoticed in daily life.
Sound is a powerful accompaniment to the work at House of Breath.
Where the mind can often stay busy, analysing and processing, sound has a unique way of bypassing the thinking mind and speaking directly to the body and nervous system.
Through layered soundscapes and passive somatic practices, Fai and Ollie create a space where muscles can soften, the nervous system can regulate, and restoration can begin.
A space to pause.
A space to soften.
A space to return to yourself.
