In this 𝘊𝘕𝘈 𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘺𝘭𝘦 feature, a former Singapore Airlines stewardess shares her experience after being diagnosed with glioblastoma, offering a glimpse into the challenges of navigating a complex brain cancer diagnosis.

Treating glioblastoma often requires specialised expertise, particularly when tumours are located near areas of the brain that control speech, movement and other vital functions. Care may involve surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy and ongoing follow-up, with treatment carefully planned to remove as much of the tumour as safely possible while preserving function and quality of life.

Her story also highlights the importance of seeking medical assessment when symptoms such as headaches, vomiting, seizures or unexplained neurological changes persist or worsen.
